Dr. Richard Kim
Internal MedicineDr. Richard Kim is a board-certified internal medicine specialist affiliated with the American College of Physicians. He completed his medical education at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. With a passion for serving others, Dr. Kim began his career working at his parents’ delicatessen while participating in community service events and missionary trips to Thailand and Nicaragua. Currently, he is pending hospital privileges with NYU.
As he heard about people’s health concerns and their stories, he realized that he wanted to serve the community by improving people’s health. Dr. Kim’s approach to treatment is centered around being a good listener to the patient’s concerns and beliefs, allowing him to develop an effective treatment plan that takes into account the patient’s physical, mental, and social well-being.
Dr. Kim’s favorite part of his job is forming long-term patient-doctor relationships, where he can have natural conversations with his patients. He believes that it is never too late to take control of your health and practicing preventive medicine is one of the best ways to live a longer and healthier life.
